Holy Cross High School is proud to offer a variety of activities available to boys and girls during the summer. Our combination of Academic, Athletic, and Arts programs provides the opportunity to continue to develop the hearts and minds of young people over the summer.

Athletic Camps

Boys & Girls Basketball

Boys ages 10-15
Girls ages 9-14

The goal of the Holy Cross Basketball Camp is to develop a complete basketball player. This is achieved by teaching the proper fundamentals of the game in a positive, encouraging environment. Sportsmanship, teamwork, confidence, and individual drive are the keys to enjoying success both on and off the basketball court. These qualities will be emphasized in safe, supervised, and enjoyable surroundings by our Holy Cross coaches and alumni college athletes. Campers will be placed in groups based on age and ability to ensure fair competition. All campers receive a personalized skills evaluation from their coach at the end of the week.

All campers should bring a towel, and combination lock, and wear proper basketball attire.

*Space is limited. Registration is first-come, first-served. No late registrations or walk-ins will be accommodated.

Academic Programs

Summer STREAM Program

(Boys and girls entering 5th-9th grade)

Our Summer STREAM Program (Science, Theology, Robotics, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics) introduces young students to great teachers and coaches, facilities, and courses offered at Holy Cross High School and provides them with individual attention to help them develop key skills.

The Summer STREAM Program provides an opportunity for boys and girls entering 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th grade this fall to spend the summer exploring what they are interested in the most!

Similar to how our current students pursue their academic interests throughout the year, the HCHS Summer STREAM Program allows individuals to select from a variety of courses that excite and inspire them, rather than limit students to a one-size-fits-all program.

Regardless of a student’s interests, the program provides an incredibly flexible, customizable, and meaningful learning experience for all. The program also allows
students to meet future Knight teammates and friends, all while having FUN!

Space is limited.

Registration Deadline: June 30th

Please call Mr. Robert Botero ’00 at (718) 886-7250 ext 558 with any questions about the Summer STREAM Program.
